Our Story
Shaz and Brian met through their shared love of singing. What began as harmonising voices quickly became a deeper connection, grounded in music, conversation, and an easy sense of belonging. Before long, one a cappella quartet turned into another, and singing together became part of the rhythm of their lives.

What about gifts?
Your presence is the greatest gift of all, however should you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution to our wishing well would be warmly appreciated.
Are the wedding ceremony and reception at the same venue?
Yes.
Can I bring my partner / child / pet?
Due to venue and planning restrictions, we are only able to accommodate those personally invited on the invitation.
What will the temperature be like on the day?
Around 24°C.
What about car parking?
There is ample car parking at the venue, and you can leave your car overnight and pick up in the morning.
What part of Toowoomba is the venue?
Gabbinbar is only 1.5 hours from Brisbane in the heart of Toowoomba – just a short 10 minute drive to the CBD and accommodation in Toowoomba.
What does formal cocktail mean for the dress code?
A sophisticated dressy look that's more elevated than a casual summer dress but less strict than black tie. Ties not required for men.
